As some of you already know we had sadness in our home having just lost on Saturday the 6th Aug. our lovely old Kizi, (Barbelka Calusek) fit and active right up to Thursday, at nearly 14 years of age.

In her youth she was always a picky eater, and judges reports said 'more body and coat needed'. She bodied up after her first litter of 9 born Nov. 1999, but was then eclipsed in the showring by her daughter 'Jozi; Ch Barbelka Eliksyr. At Windsor 2002 she beat her and won the RCC!

At home though from 2003 onward she took over as the top bitch, nominally sharing the title with grandmother Elka, until her death in 2005.
