elkhound for sale on internet

I was just checking the internet site Gumtree with reference to getting rid of our old car. Out of habit I checked dogs for sale and was saddened to find a 10 month elkhound pup for sale for £250 in Cornwall Road in Wolverhampton. Has anyone sold a pup this year which they may now like to follow up? Two photos, (nice looking pup)and mobile phone number on advert.

Hi - thanks for your msg. Elkhound Rescue made contact with the owner in early October and explained that we would do whatever we could to help but we couldn't buy the dog. She provided details of where she had acquired the Elkhound from. She isn't KC registered; was born in the North of England but isn't descended from Mayfield/Dogs R US.
