Here's a question (or four) for the coming week. In the style of the now defunct Kennel Gazette, here is a question for the show goer or breed enthusiast (the questions are not quite the same as the KCs, and the answers are not limited only to judges).
The dogs that are named should be Norwegian Elkhounds. Please exclude your own dogs from the first two questions. You can mention up to three names for Questions 1 & 2. The dogs may come from anywhere in the world.
Question 1. Which dog (or dogs) that you have actually seen in the flesh stands out to you as the closest to the Standard?
Question 2. Which dog (or dogs) that you have only seen in photographs do you consider to be the closest to the Standard, or else wiish that you'd seen?
Question 3. Which of your own dogs, or dogs bred by you, do you consider to have been the closest to the Standard?
Question 4. Which individual dog do you consider to have been the greatest of all time (its virtues not necessarily limited to the Standard)?
