NORWEGIAN ELKHOUND FORUM

Our beloved and wonderful INT UCH NSJ(B)CH Gokstadhaugen's Lystige Barlinn was 10 years old 2nd February 2015. Then suddenly on the 4th April she got serously ill. We had to put her down on the 5th to my great sorrow. She was the best ever - always gentle, kind and nice towars all - humans and other dogs, a wonderful companion, smart and clever and so keep to always please me. She also was a wonderful brood bitch that gave birth to some wonderful elkhouns as INT NSUCH NSJ(B)CH NORDV-10 Gokstadhaugen's JANUS who won 12 times Best in Show and 7 times 2nd best in show. She was an excellent hunting dogs and got 90 points two times and 89 points - out of 100. She participated at several Norwegian Championships for bandhunds and placed very well each time, she was an excellent hunting dog in real hunt as well. She was the first puppy we kept from our first litter at Gokstadhaugen. We'll always remember her and she has stolen a big piece of our hearts. Rest in peace dear Barlinn!
